I was in the right place at the right time....I had a chance to photograph two of God's little creatures on a perfect pleasure, the flower.
My first photo subject was far away from me....even on zoom, but I managed to get a couple of good shots.
I stood in awe at the beautiful contrast in color.
The second subject was much closer. Both butterflies seemed to enjoy my Joe Pye Weed.
Soon, my darling insects were chasing each other, zig zagging in the sky and fluttering by me.
Happy PINK! C & G Design.
There is nothing more lovely than a butterfly garden. Happy Pink Saturday!
ReplyDeleteGoodness, I would've thought that pink was sedum. The butterflies are enjoying it very much this year. Glad you told me it was Joe Pye. Looks great! Happy Pink!
ReplyDeleteIt comes to my shoulders and I saw it in your bloom post, so pretty it is and I have alot of it.
ReplyDeleteYes! It is a great plant. Mine finished blooming about two weeks ago. So now we track the seasons. Did you get my email yesterday?
ReplyDeleteAh, what a pretty "Great Spangled Fritillary" butterfly! No, I am not that smart, I just happen to have my butterfly book on the desk. Hee hee... They are pretty little things...
ReplyDeleteI was wondering what kind of butterfly it was.
ReplyDeleteNo, I didn't get your mail, my address changed, it's on my profile I think you have the old one.
ReplyDeleteForgot to say....needed to see these two Fritillarys in the sky. I like that word, can't ya tell. Thanks Skeeter.
ReplyDeleteI've been having such fun reading your blog!!! I had a Chatty Cathy I bought late in life...because I wanted one earlier in life...and didn't get her! ha ha! I sold her on ebay to help pay for the adoption fees of my Daisy. She's a real live Chatty Cathy. I still have the little storybook about Chatty Cathy. So many thing to read about here. I will be back. Thank YOU for visiting my little blog on the web.
