Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls by Jesso

Just about a year ago (o.k., 10 months), I wrote a post on Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls, it's a must read for anyone who likes little nick knacks, small dolls, and the child like world of dress-up. Well, in that post I mentioned Jesso bought the company, and remade many of the early dolls. I have one of these dolls mint in the box. She is dated 1986 and she has no particular name.
I picked her up at Goodwill for $5.00, but to me....she is worth so much more. Remember, a must read.

She is so cute with her pink dress and her straw hat.

Again, she is 5 1/2'', made with hard plastic, and has fixed black shoes. Although she is 23 years old, she has yet to make the value books, just an honorable mention for a company carrying on the work of a pioneer. My doll even has her gold wristlet tag!
Someday she will have a value! C&G Design

  3. Hi Dawn....and Tina, Jean, and Skeeter. I really like the dress and hat this doll has. I'm sure she will have collectible value soon, she is just too cute and unique. Another nice day here in the north woods. Have a good one, Hugs, Kathleen

  4. That's right Dawn! You keep her safe and she will definitely be valuable some day. I have many items that I have seen go up in price when they had none at one time. You are such a saver or are you a bit of a packrat like me sometimes? Ha ha..

  5. What a cute doll. What's wrong with her eyes, though?

  6. Hi Debbie, I tease my hubby about breeding more packrats. $ in one house!
DP, her eyes are painted but because of the flash it ended up reflecting, argh! I should really learn to take pictures with out the flash.

She who dies with the most fabric, wins.
