Please, please, when buying your PINK prom flowers, select a place that donates a percent to the Susan Komen Foundation. I don't mean for this to be a advertisement but this foundation was started in a woman's name, Susan Komen who had breast cancer. The foundation was started by Susan's sister. It was a promise from her to Susan on Susan's last days among us. There are plenty of florist that donate and after all, that's what PINK is about, isn't it?
Keeping in the spirit of things and PINK SATURDAY, I've included some flowers found in my yard. These pictures were found on various sites and are not mine but they are a true representation of what I see here in New England.
