You can see why they are called boudoir dolls, they have that elaborate display and a beautiful knack for looking gorgeous on the bed.
And mine would stay here except for the fact my dog likes to sleep here when I'm not home, he thinks I don't know but since he has become hard of hearing, I'm able to sneak in the house, call for him, then hear him jump down off the bed. It's not hard, my bed is in one section of the house and that's it, AND I'm not stupid.
Oh, Miss Lillian looks fantastic. She could sit on my bed anytime.
ReplyDeleteShe looks fantastic just as Lola said. I think I'd close my door to keep the dog off my bed. With us we have a waterbed. It would be most funny to see a dog try to get on it! They would get a shock. Now Bella though, she tries to sneak in the guest room and sleep on her momma's bed. I had to block her out-such a bad doggie.
ReplyDeleteDawn I am loving this doll. It must be the girly-girl in me. I think she is just fabulous. So glam, and so feminine. Will you be making any more? Hugs, Kathleen
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, love her face. My cats would love those feathers;)
ReplyDeleteMarnie
Oh Dawn...
ReplyDeleteI love her. I just knew it would be pink. She needed the softness of the pink color for sure. Her feathers are so beautiful framing her face. What a wonderful job you did. She is just breath taking.
Thanks for sharing as always. Please stop by and say hi. I love it when you do.
Country hugs...Sherry
She is wonderful and I know you will enjoy her very much.
ReplyDeleteFunny about Tartarus on the bed.
Tina, Dawn also has a waterbed. I thought you knew that. I envy you 2 liking the waterbed. I so thought I would like one and now it takes up space sitting in Terri-Lynn's basement as my back doctor told me to get rid of it. I loved the warmth of it but was not real crazy about the bed itself.
Excellent job!! She looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteShe is wonderful Dawn! You did an awesome job on her. I know I use the word awesome a lot on my comments but everything you do is so awesome to my eyes! I must find a new word. lol.... Pink is the only way to go with a boudoir doll…
ReplyDeleteMy cats dont think I know they sneak up on a display cabinet but when i find barf on the floor and it has fake greenery in it, that is only found on top of that display, I know they have been there. All the innocent looks in the world will not tell me any different. They are so like human children at times. :-)
Hi Dawn...I am catching up and reading your last two posts!! Oh my God you did a fabulous job with this lovely, lovely, Boudoir doll! I never mentioned it, when you had all those different dolls listed before, but she was my favorite!! You are SUCH a hugely talented lady!! I am ALWAYS amazed when I come here to see what you are up to next!! Bravo on a fantastic finale!! Love it..love it...love it!! BTW...Happy Thankgsgiving to you and your family if I don't get a chance to get back here....busy week!
ReplyDeleteHer face is so pretty. And, I do love the pink. Perfect name.
ReplyDeleteDawn, you with the dog and Skeeter with the cats....well I laughed my head off yesterday. Sarah was upstairs putting clothes away and I was in the computer room and Josh was going back and forth. He came in to see me and was eating a turnover. I asked him where he got it and just shrugged my shoulders and told him to go get at the table and I got up and made sure he went and sat up with his feet and legs were under the table.
ReplyDeleteHis mother came down and asked him where he got it. He told her Mimi gave it to him. Nope I did'nt. When he did not answer me I thought Papa gave it to him, nope he did'nt. I am thinking he could not climb up on the counter and get one of those darn plastic store bakery containers opened. Cripes I can hardly open them. So Sarah and I checked the container, cover had been torn and not closed all the way. I guess the little bugger did climb up and get it!!!! Must be the terrible 2's.
He knows what he wants and goes after it-mom's gonna have to really watch him now:)
ReplyDeleteJean, you really do have to keep your eyes on those little ones! They are little buggars with sneaking into things...
