Just a short post and a really bad photo! I wanted to show what I did until the wee hours last night. I made these Christmas trees, (it works better with green wrapped Reese's) and these little mice which I first saw on CC's blog, Lace 'n Ribbon Roses.
I'm sending them to school with Madame today, they should be a hit, all 30 of them. Today will be the last school day before a 2 week vacation and today is the Christmas concert to which my daughter has a solo on her saxophone. I fear she will hit a sour note but she's well practiced and tells me it's easy, all three of the songs she has to choose from. This is the last year for me to visit the elementary school after 11 years straight and I'm so happy she has earned her place and privilege for these honors. C&G Design

Cute! I like the mice. Great talking to you last night! Good luck to Madamme in concert. What a talented little lady.
How exciting for your daughter. Hope she does very well.

Cute little trees and mice. What did you use to attach the pieces to one another? Have a great time at the concert!!
Cute, but I thought the mouse on the right was a turkey and the one on the left, well I just did not know what it was. Then I enlarged it and mice they were, very cute.
Go break a leg Madame!!!!!!!
Protector of vintage, I forgot to say I used double sided tape. I tried placing 2 reese's with tops together, curled pipe cleaners, small red pom-pom for the nose to make a reindeer but the wells on the top of the candy didn't work so we dropped it.
Oooo, your mouses are so sweet and your tiny tree is wonderful. Congratulation to your daughter on her solos. I hope she does fantastic..
Good luck on the solo for Madame! The kids will love the treats. Jimmy finished up yesterday and is home sleeping happily, I might add. No, actually I got him up at 1330! Cold here, hope you all stay warm and have a great holiday.
