Stick Around for Five minutes

That's the claim to fame about Maine weather, "If you don't like the weather in Maine, stick around for five minutes, it'll change." Well, that was not the case this past weekend, it snowed for four days, sometimes really heavy and sometimes so light it looked as if it were struggling to come down.
We get a abundance of snow this time of year but winter came early as we had some inches on the ground for a white Christmas, we added another 13 inches.

We were fortunate, the started predicting 3 feet for this Nor'Easter which actually was a No'Wester as it rotated around, that's why it took awhile for it to go out to sea.
Gosh, when they were broadcasting that....our Wally world was turned upside down, no power lost though.
I'm keeping the fingers crossed. C&G Design

This winter sure got off to an early, stormy beginning. We have had some snow almost daily. This morning I see a hint of blue sky. Of course, if it warms up a little, the snow will melt, freeze overnight, and make for a slippery AM tomorrow. You can't win. Have a great day, Dawn. Hugs, Kathleen

We are predicted to get 1-3" this Thursday! I'm so excited! I can see a snow day for the Jimster and lots of hot chocolate because it is cold here-not a typical thing at all. Stay warm there! Hopefully no ice dams.

In the south when snow is predicted, it is a must to go to the grocery and buy milk and bread along with chili fixins! lol. And while I was home, it snowed and I swear my mom bought chili fixins when the house was full of Christmas left overs! lol....

No power lost here either. With all the power outages we have had recent years, we were ready for one but got lucky. CMP seems to have forgotton our little town when it comes to tree trimming the past few years.

When the snow comes, it's definately chili fixin time. Here in Texas, we're just cold..and expected a wholllllle bunch colder, but no snow. hmmmmm, I may do chili anyway, it sure sounds warm and comforting.
Try to stay warm..

Ha! We DO get more snow than you! It usually starts in October. How can that be? I guess because we are so much farther inland. My world is upside down now...I thought for sure Maine was "more" of everything than Vermont. Well, it is, just y'all have more of the good things especially if Wally World is Walmart! :-)
