Bottle Cozy

Kids are back in school, ha! No really by the end of the year I'm ready for summer vacation. Look what Madame did, it may not look impressive but she did it in one afternoon, AND, she was crafty enough to spy a notion that slides open and close.

She uses it as a bottle cozy. I told her if she added big beads while crocheting and put two drawstring opposite one another, she would have a perfect bag purse.
Oh, and by the end of summer, I'm ready for school to start.
Real ready. C&G Design

  1. Madame did a great job! We could've used something like this while overseas in the desert to insulate the bottles. We used socks instead. School, ah, school.

  3. Good Morning Sweetie...
Madame did an awesome job. I can't even knit/crochet one thing. I am still trying to figure out how to knit a baby blanket by June. I can do it I just have to find the right pattern.

Have a beautiful day sweetie. Please know that you are loved. Country hugs...Sherry

  10. I love that she is doing these crafts! (I want a girl!) Boy, school is in session so little now, isn't it? Many schools have Wednesday afternoon off. Try working around that in a big city.

So dark and snowy here. I don't think it will add up to much, though.

One time during one of the Middle East wars, I came home from my piano lesson and NO one was there! Now my mom had 5 other kids so to go somewhere was a big deal. I thought it was the second coming and I was left behind! When the "Left Behind" series came out, I didn't want my son to read them. Not that the content was bad, just that the instance I went through was SO traumatic. Scarred me for life! :-)
