It's pink Saturday again! The day many, many bloggers get together to post something pink. You can find them pink partying at Beverly's, click on over to see.
I'm highlighting a few pages from a vintage magazine I have entitled "Ribbon Art". It is the most with the best boudoir items I have ever seen, it also comes with instructions. The magazine was printed in 1923 when the "flapper" was popular. Enlarge these pages and see for yourself.

These Boudoir Luxuries would make any one, from a lady to a trollop, feel quite elegant
Oh Dawn Sweetie...
Happy Pink Saturday. I adore this post. My gosh are these not fabulous. I love them, even headbands were popular back then. I love all the lace and trims that they used. Wasn't it just beautiful? I sometimes think I was born in the wrong era.
Thank you for sharing sweetie. Have a beautiful Saturday.
Country hugs and much love, Sherry
Happy Pink Saturday Dawn! Great old photographs. I have quite a collection of old sheet music and these photos remind me of some of those....cool.
Looks like a great magazine!!
I love, beyond words I can type here, these old instructional magazines. I saved the pic of the boudoir case because I have tons of ribbon and that would make such a cute clutch. Happy Pink Saturday!
I love these old ads.

ENJOY!
