Well, the honors festival was a great success! It was nice to get a front row seat 30 minutes before play and leave after 45 minutes of music. No long, drawn out event.Out of the orchestra, choirs and band, (playing in that order) not one seemed to skip or hit a sour section and I could see why the kids are who they are.Madame LOVES, LOVES, LOVES, this dress, I must say, I really like it too. Here she is in the parking lot, posing, as we waited for traffic. The District II was in Portland this year so we had lots, and lots of traffic. The band played a REALLY impressive song about a vacation in Hawaii when a volcano erupted. The lady behind me said "WOW" so loudly when it was done that even all the band heard it. Madame explained to me that 4 intervals of the song they were allowed to do what they wanted to do, she thought it wouldn't sound that great but it was SO cool! A thought provoking, emotional piece. Well worth the trip. C&G Design

She looks so sweet sitting there with her instrument. She is a natural for photographs. She should be a little model.
