Prob-blem!

Okay, it's not the deck that's the problem, (it does need painting!) It is the music stand. See, Madame had the district two concert (honors festival) and literally... she relayed to me the day before that she will need to take her music stand and that it will need to break down.

PROB-BLEM! It breaks down, it does. But since I bought it second hand, (when do I ever buy first.....) the poor thing has no bag. I went to work. First telling Madame I have a wine colored velvet that would work as a beautiful bag. She requested her name to be part of it. Oay vey, nothing to be simple.

Here we go, no easy task, I tell ya. See my chalk line from the first "N?" I figured she would have something not so nice to say about this case, but.......*sigh*

Pretty neat, huh?

This might be the hardest part of the bag, (for the exception of the name) I wanted a circular drawstring so it couldn't be pulled out. Having to sew it in the pull part can be a little touchy.

OMG! She loves it! She told her brother and Dad at the dinner table, "You should see the stand bag mom made for me." Me....convinced she wouldn't care for it, thought I heard "da*n bag", I gave her a bit of heck, much to her quietly, blank, expression.

OMG...Madame is no longer anonymous and she has a wonderful new bag created by her loving mom!! And she loves it! God blessed you with a perfect day...enjoy it...they don't come along that often. Wait until she is sixteen...all hell breaks loose...well Madame may not change a bit. She's a sweetie. Great job mom!! Way to come through. You really should have your own seamstress business!

She will be the envy of all the buding musicians.

I wish we had spell check on here as I had first typed "budding" but it just did not look right so I dropped a d and it still does not look right. What is wrong with me today?!!! It is really bad when a simple word like that escapes you.
