Not much is going on in my neck of the woods lately, I've done alittle crafting but it is an order I got while in the hospital (good thing the lady is willing to wait).
Other than that it's doctor visits and concentrating on healing while speeding closer to having chemotherapy.
I found this article while perusing the Internet the other day, it's from Newsweek, can ya believe that? Newsweek. The bit is on funny businesses and a doll doctor is top ranking, or the doll hospitals in general.
I guess not everyone can see the value in repairing a childhood memory, or cleaning a discarded art piece worth thousands, but hey....it ranks with the bubble busters (gum cleaners) and people who breed giant rabbits. I'd much rather be doing repairs on dolls than the other things listed but to each it's own......see Funny Business.
I sometimes think these unusual jobs come from a need for employment.

Having a doll hospital sounds like a very worthy cause and great source of income-it is a perfect market niche!
OMG I just do not understand some people's reasoning sometimes. That is just ludicrous and hilarious at the same time.
How cool is that? I went to the doll hospital and took a look around. YOU should be working there! I did email them regarding their website...the before and after photos of the dolls could not be enlarged? Hello! Someone might want to see details of that work before sending their beloved dolls. I am glad things are moving along. You must be feeling so free without that machine huh? You are in my prayers every day and we'll talk soon. Life over here has been stressful to say the least. Obie has to be gated constantly.
I've heard of doll doctors but didn't know any till I met you. You sure do a wonderful job to repair the memories of some little girls. I would be honored {if I had a doll} to have you doctor it for me.
So glad you are feeling better.
I always thought "doll hospital" was a perfect profession! Must be some guy wrote that article. :-)
