I just love this series of the Raggedy BOM and I have chosen to post on the current three until we get caught up, by then it will be four blocks released. The painted quilt publishes the blocks on the twentieth of each month. Check her out by clicking on my sidebar.

  1. I remember when I first started reading here, you were doing embroidery for another quilt. Happy memories. Don't know why, but I think I just may join in on one of these soon. Hope you are doing well and enjoying the ballet! (madame)

  2. Not sure about the bright red eyes but I sure do like the quilt blocks. I have a good friend down here who's two main hobbies are quilting and gardening. She makes stunning quilts! I wish I could do it.

  3. I love those red eyes too! I think it was a great idea to use buttons. It reminds me of all the red work you did a while back....you posted on each one when you were done. They were beautiful!! Well would you believe we have had the carpenter here for 3 almost full days over the past week and a half! The devil is in the details!! It doesn't look like much to others but we know we got a lot done! The floor will be sanded next Monday....oy-vay! Hope you're well my friend. :)

  4. I love the buttons for eyes but think I would have used blue ones. Actually since I have NEVER attempted to make a quilt, I guess I am not the right person to change anything. LOL

Tina, you made baby quilts and did it all by hand and did a great job for the twins and they still have them as far as I know. At least they did not too many years ago.

  5. I love quilts but can't make them. Yours look fabulous. Can't wait to see the finished product.
I understand about the 1%. When it rains it pours.
    Be well my friend.

  6. I was looking at the eyes before reading the blog. I was thinking buttons then read, Duh, Buttons! I like the buttons...

When home in TN this last go round, my mom gave me the Doll Quilt I slept under as a child. It is displayed with the other family quilts I have in the house...
