BOM

What is a BOM?
It stands for Block of the Month, quilt block of the month.

I have found through the past two years, alot of blogs dealing with quilts, have designed their own block of the month. The blocks of a quilt are published once a month for about 12 months. I have downloaded a cute Noah and the Ark crib quilt that way, remember, you'll never find a BOM in the local shoppes.
The painted quilt, is featuring this adorable Raggedy Ann and Andy, redwork quilt.
This is BOM number 1. I'll post the others in a few weeks, thus far she has released only 3 blocks. I'm unable to transfer the pattern but it's linked from her blog.

  1. It is a very unique quilt. I love the blockiness of it. And the red outline on Raggedy is cool too.

  5. Dawn, this is too cute. You know I just love red work.

'tis the season, both Christmas and hunkering down for the winter with projects, and mine are all packed away in Rutland. Can't wait to unpack in CA and get going.

  6. Hi Dawn, I am trying to catch up on my blog visits. You certainly have some challenges. I know you are a tough girl, and are doing OK. I have been busy knitting and doing counted cross stitch, and really enjoying myself. We have had a lot of car problems, and I have been sick with bronchitis. You know how it is. Looking forward to more regular visits. Your blog looks great! Luv and hugs
