I was looking on the Internet the other day for some graphics, usually I come away disappointed because so much of it is for purchase. Imagine how excited I was to find a site with several free scrap booking sets. I was amazed. There are many, many sets that are free for the download.

The silver corners are sweet, there is also gold embellishments.

A whole section devoted to baby books,

and tags,

and more tags. I down loaded the plain outlined tags which has 15 pages. I like to grunge the yellow colored card stock. It gives it a aged look. I read shoe polish is the way to go for grunge.

Free Labels

I happened upon this cute booklet that almost appeared to look like a coloring book, but at a closer look we can see some adorable labels. The booklet has 72 of these 12, repeating for 12 pages, they are adhesive backed and can be used as bookplates or...like I'm going to, canning labels. The designs are from The Wizard of OZ; Alice in Wonderland: Little Red Riding Hood; Mother Goose; The Goose Girl: Puss in Boots: and Sleeping Beauty's Castle. Designed by Ed Sibbett, Jr.

I thought they would be a cute freebie.

A Different Find

I finally got to go thrifting yesterday, it's been a while, weeks before Christmas I believe. I also had to jump out and find some cheesecloth for some doll undergarments but that's for another day. Do you know what this is? I didn't when I saw them but I figured I could use them for ink/paint stamping. This kit has a;
fancy L,
a ladybug,
a centurion (half man, half horse)
flowers,
large daisy,
a apple,
footprints,
and "SWAK" (sealed with a kiss)

But it also had a bunch of other things that looked like cray pods or pastels (think that's what they are called)
It wasn't until I got home I discovered it was actually sealing wax! Oh, excitement! But what would I use it for?

Scrapbooking American Girl Paper Dolls.

Browsing the chaotic shelves of a second hand shop is one of my favorite thing to do, on this day I found these lovely paper dolls. They were stuffed in a flimsy, plastic.....all I can think of is a veggie container.


The cashier took a double take and told me I got a good purchase. I can't really date the set but this advertisement indicates it was issued before Kaya, Kit, Josephina, and now Julie, became part of the historic collection. It also has just the five girls. I took the set home, made a large scrapbook (cover of the book is behind ad) and put my collection in each designated pocket.
