A chill in the air....

Not so true, here we are in the start of summer and the only chill that maybe around is the moisture on your skin from the humidity. I selected to do a post on Christmas today in hopes of giving the feeling of cool air. Wishing it will work.

I know making ornaments maybe time consuming to alot of people but not to me. I like the tediousness of the smaller work, love to get the glue gun out, and for me, time seems to slip by really fast.

This is one of my favorite holiday sets. The crafts speak for themselves, they are wooden, require some paint, fabric, and a steady hand! They become so cute, wouldn't you like to kiss Kris? Someone did.
The following set was not that easily made, it is a soft sculpture with nylon being the skin tone. One advice that I learned making the 7 little characters. Never make Christmas decorations around Christmas. It took me forever to find the gold trim, any other time of the year, it is plentiful. Make a list,

check it twice. C&G Design

They all look good! You are so talented. I used to make crafts for Christmas, but ran out of time when I joined the Army. Never found it when I retired.

Thank-you, make you think of a cold Christmas? Right now it does for me but later it won't

Mom, I thought of that when I did this, doesn't it make feel like going back to Feb? It does me, Christmas is so LARGE and comes so fast. Yes, is the answer to your question on the other post. No if, ands, or buts. Became a member of a cloth doll ring tonight (bottom of post), so excited! Gotta get the esty store and link it! Nite, movie time!

I like the homemade items much better then the store bought ones. That was a nice thing about going to a German Market at Christmas time. But as all things become commercial, so have the larger Christmas markets in Germany... arggggg. We stuck with the smaller communities markets and have some great homemade treasures for our trees...
