I think Jack of all trades and myself have a appreciation for fine art, we enjoy unusual objects from the past especially one that plays a role in history. Many of you will recognize the statue below....
We had to fill David's calf with plaster and repair a loose ankle, not to mention a new paint job. With the help of an up light, David fits the corner of my hallway, perfectly. My kids are embarrassed and don't realize what a gem David is, they are thinking of their company and how to explain it to them. To date, friends enjoy David and spend way to much attention to him!

Oh no you didn't! I am shocked you posted this! But I do love it and I am not surprised the kids are embarrassed. Fine art or not-it can be a bit disconcerting.:)
Skeeter you are so funny!! However I think he looks fine just the way he is and someday the kids will fight over who gets him!!!

Back on, ugggh! Frustrating again! Skeeter and Tina, too funny. I think he is agreat piece of art from a famous artist, all people see him and think.....hummm, looks familiar. However I HAVE thought of the fig leaf or loin cloth. More than likely Madame will get it, the other one doesn't care although at that time they just might fight over it!
