Why? Why? Why?

At the risk of sounding like Nancy Kerigan on a day as today, let me just say.....wake-up to ZZ Tops singing "Gimme all your lovin!" That's what we did Saturday morning. Sharp dressed man is another good one.
Can ya believe it snowed!?! About 5 inches.

And it was snowing until about noon. How pretty but how depressing at the same time.

Even though it rained later on, the snow was still on the ground when it was time for bed.

Oh well, I guess it's becoming usual to have some sort of storm in the middle of April.

Great goodness...winter just won't let go of you. I promise you.. spring if here.. sending you some wildflower wishes..and warm spring air.
p.s. As we speak,I'm shivering. It rained all day Saturday..and it's still coming down a bit..and I am a bit chilled..well,more than a bit. Soon, warm spring..I just know it..

Yikes! April snow is not my idea of delicious weather. Having fun in the gardens down south but will be hating the heat and wanting your weather come summer.....

Hang in there as the nice stuff is on the way....

I remember getting snow on April 21 8 years ago. How can I remember? My youngest son was born that day. Not exactly a spring baby!!

Hi Dawn...I couldn't believe it either!! And I totally agree with you...pretty but weird since we have had 80 degree weather some days! The planet is all screwed up! You got much more than we did and by bedtime for us it was all gone. We got about 2 to 3 inches and it stuck to everything...it just warmed up and melted away. Meanwhile, the weather we did have before this storm made my grass grow enough so it needs to be mowed! A really weird sight to see in Maine right now is a house with a plow truck in the driveway while the owner is mowing his lawn! Yikes! Oh BTW...I love ZZ top and so does hubby!

Oh my goodness!!! It is not all that warm here in KY either. I just yelled at Terri-Lynn (she just got here yesterday) and she said no snow in Harpswell on Sunday.
