The books....

Most all my posts have been brief lately, that's because I'm very occupied with my studio. I need to get to the garden though, the weeds are scary.
Anyway, here is a small look at some of my books, this shelf will be full by the next day.... And I have the matching one to fill up also.....

This is the good ole' standby, it's placed at the head of the stairs, not to worry all the bookshelves are attached securely to the wall studs.

So far....that's a lotta books! C&G Design

Yes indeed. The walls are growing on me. They look to be very warm and inviting.

That's a lot of books Dawn!! Actually, I don't knwo what I am saying...is I put all mine together I would proably have a huge amount too. They are all hidden in a big cabinet right now...mostly cookbooks though. I have to confess, I got a peek of the floor in that last photo and I like it!! I didn't think I would but i do! When are you going to reveal more of it! This is so exciting! Oh...and the weeds in the garden....me too! I have to get out there today. Foot and knee trouble have kept me away.

You and Tina take after me in the collecting of books. Besides what I have in the house, I have boxes and boxes of them in the basement. Not good to store them like that so I am too scared to open them but will have to at some point. Books are like plants, just can not trow them out.

My garden also needs a good weeding BUT, the good news, I have been picking peas and I have many potato blooms so will eat some new potatoes very soon. Yum, yum!!!! But today is MDA suport group day so am off to Portland. Not looking forward to the "big city" in this heat.

Oh boy, collections. Do we not collect what is most important to us. What is sades is to have to do something with all that collecting.
Love the walls.
