I'm Embarassed

All of my studio is done except the knee wall door, my husband is going to design a ribbon holder for me and that will take a little time.
Meanwhile....I'm moving things in.....woo hoo! Look at my 5 drawer dresser..... one.....

two....

three.....

four.....hair and wigs....

and five.....sorry for the blurr, the drawer became farther away from my camera and I'm exhausted, long day today starting with another filling at the dentist this morning, all is well though just tired......and embarrassed.
I must do some of these dolls and get them on Etsy. C&G Design

Oh good, it's coming around to having things in their place. Nice.

Hope all goes well at the dentist. I love dressers, I could have many and would still want more. Maybe because I have so much stuff. Hope you have a great week-end!

Oh for God's sake don't be embarrassed! Why are you embarrassed? Don't be foolish! Is it to do with showing us your room? My Lord...that is a lot of work! Don't feel like you are on a deadline because of all of us my dear.:) And the doll parts remind me of GeeGee!! I helped her organize some plastic bins in her bedroom closet and she had similar doll parts! She makes crochet dolls that are gorgeous. I will blog about it soon and show you some. Looking good Dawn...I am so jealous you are getting hubby to make you a ribbon holder!! I love those! That was part of my original design of my room that never got done. My room is much smaller and more of a bedroom wanna be though. Yours is all crafts!! I can wait patiently too see it when you are ready!

What are you embarrassed about? Things always take longer than expected. Well worth it in the end to have all thos extra nice items and touches the room has. A ribbon will save sooooo much time when sewing or crafting. I have a metal bar thingy that I bought for wrapping paper and ribbon and boy do I love that thing and it will not hold as much as I want or what you will have but it sure does save a lotta time at Christmas time.

Drawers of doll parts, hum, me sees a scary movie here. lol.... I can see the floor in this pic. You need to give me a long view of the entire room now so I can really be envious of your hard work.... :-)

Hi everyone,
Mom, embarrassed because all the doll parts! And that's not all of them!
Skeeter! Welcome back! I should be revealing the room sometime next week, hopefully. Walls are wallpapered with tissue pattern pieces, looks better than it sounds. Wooly has claimed the room even going outside less and less!

Dawn it is too #x&/$?@% hot for Wooly to go outside. We just got the ac's in the windows yesterday and I actually am chilly sitting here but I am not gonna complain about being chilly. However I gotta get out and pick more peas before they go by. Hate the heat so maybe I should get in the pool.

No need to be embarrassed about that either. That is what sewers and/or crafters do.

Dawn or Jean, have either of you heard of the dolls made with milk filters? The milk filters are the ones that were used at dairy's. The dolls were about 7" & had different color of hair. Their original use was to be set in the middle of one's bed as the filters made a large skirt.

Nope, never heard of them. I do remember seeing (and doing myself) a doll with a full skirt on beds but I think the dress was always material, usually a silky material.

Dawn, it is starting to look like we will have to sell or pay to move everything! I love seeing your collection, but it does remind me of how much I have tucked away!

Jean,
The filters were tied with yarn. Sure wish I had the directions for it. I always matched the color of the yarn to the color of the hair. May try to find how to do them.
