Clothscapes-part 2

I've gathered the second grouping of embroidered work, to be included in my collective sampler.
This one is finished and was hanging in a picture frame, I like it so much I've included it.
Basket of flowers was finished by myself in the late eighties, it was bordered and stretched on a picture frame, but because it's linen, it never did look square. Linen gives alot. Hopefully it won't do that this time, never did like it and I can't wait to incorporated it into this sampler.
This one is to die for! How pretty is that? I picked this one up at a second hand shop. It is almost done and if I have the colors on hand I'm starting with this one, it's already in a stationary frame.

I'm thinking I'll border each piece with unbleached muslin, I believe that would maintain an aged look and if I add on to it, I'll always find more muslin, also every piece has a neutral backdrop. I'm not quite sure how they'll fit together but I know these are a good start.

Keep your fingers crossed. C & G Design.

Hi Skeeter! Up around the windows and porch. Isn't that a very pretty one?! SOOO close to being done for the person! It is my fave, may have to add little ones to make this square. Intials? and definatly birds.

How do you find the time to do all of this? I have some projects that are 20 years old and still not done. Wow!

Hi guys,
I'm working on the house now and much to my surprise, there is a rocking chair on the porch! Hope I can get it to look like one, easier when you have the graph.
Tina, ONLY, ONLY once before I did ALL my unfinished projects. Before I met hubby. That's my goal now.....everywhere I look....ugh, gotta get them finished, every minute, every second. Remember...no smokes. YEAH! Busy hands make happy hearts! Hey, that might be a good stitch for this!

Is the rocking a chair a surprise and new find? Maybe an early b-day present?

No, no, no, I wasn't clear----the clothscape house, not my house, wish it was......okay, who is on whopping meds....you or me! lol

Funny Dawn. I knew you meant the clothscape. Sometimes Tina reads too fast.

As for the smokes....GREAT JOB. Just stay with it.

Okay, duh on my part. it is obvious once you pointed it out to me. I knew what you meant on the rocking chair too. Tina is spending too much time sniffing paint fumes! Lol...

I'm a speed reader you all! In speed reading you miss half of what you read but still get the gist of it. That is my story and I'm sticking to it!

Too funny.

I still say you are sniffing too many fumes. Time to get back into the garden and sniff some good old compost!
