Pink Firetail

To celebrate Pink Saturday, I've caught a few shots of one of my favorite plants, Firetail.

This plant does better outside and I've struggled to keep this one happy, I think it's fixin' to lose it's pink here pretty quick.

I'll be cutting it back and adding a fertilized soil to the first inch of roots, in hopes it will help, for now I'm enjoying these pink fuzzy pods!

No, not hardy and everytime I get one I find it need tremendous amounts of water, always dies on me. This time I'm keeping to every other day to see if it will house plant for me. Pretty plant when it's full of green and pink.

We have a tree in my area that looks similar. It's called a bottle brush. Happy Pink Saturday!

Oh smilingsal I was gonna say it looks like the Bottle Brush Bush or Tree you see in Florida. Very pretty flower and so different. Dawn Nana loved the Bottle Brush
and it really does look like it.
