I'm thinking my trunk might hold a surprise.....I already have a trunk similar to this only bigger.....what can be inside?Jack of All Trades brought this goody home and explained to me the content.
Hint: I wasn't on the face of the Earth when the contents was made and sold.
A customer decided it might be better to pass along this trunk rather than take it all to the dump. He was right, Jack of All Trades wants to add to it and we will.....

Nice gift. Those old trunks used to be worth a few bucks but have lost their value of late years. But I love them and you always wonder the history of them. Sounds as if you might have some to go with yours. I love mine but have no history with it.

I have an old hump back trunk from Germany that I love. My mom has two that were handed down from my grandparents. I find them interesting and to think someone would trash one. arggggg...

It is something that these trunks are thought to be thrown away, I find them beautiful and useful esp. if one were to put casters on them. This one needs the leather replaced, steel brush to the fictures and maybe a evening staining. It's lined with wallpaper,(of course)apparently not opened for quite some time because it's released from the sides intact.
Skeeter, you are so funny! And close! Jack of all trades might protest about dolls and I'm doing a two part post because I'd never heard of these before, alot to them. You might reconize them with older brothers around.
