This is a sweet pattern, who'd think a frog could look so good? I had to jump on it and I learned Peepers have a darkened x on their backs, interesting, huh? This will finish up my water animals, and I'll move on to the insects. I think I have a great group of amphibians.

Hi Dawn! I see you are still a very busy woman! I am playing catch up this morning a bit. I just went through a few of your last posts. How beautiful Madamme looked in her tiara! You are such a good mom. The frog redwork is my new favorite. It looks so cool outlined like that. You must have a ton of red embroidery thread! Keep up the great work. We are working out the kinks of getting Obie better over here. It's been stressful but at least he is alive and getter better.
Oh my goodness, he is just precious!!
I like the little peeper. I didn't know they had an x on their back. We have lots of them around here. Funny, it was raining & they were calling for rain. They can be a little messy.
I didn't know they had an X either. Pretty cool! Are you making a quilt?
Cutest frog I have ever seen. I am still recovering from my Turbo NYC trip. I hear rain is coming. Good time to do some crafting! Hugs, Kathleen
Hi Debbie, I'll be thinking of Obie, mine is going to the vets on Thur for a growth on his ear????Big signs when it's over, he'll be happier too, just as Obie is getting.
Mom, I though you would like this guy.
Lola, funny little creatures these guys are, they are predicters, I bet.
Tina, yes I'm making a quilt and I'm leaning towards a twin size. I found a great fabric on Etsy but I'll check Joanne's first.
Kathleen, hope you all had loads of fun. They had something about broadway this morning, the avenue closed to cars because the sunbather were out!
I LOVE redwork. Never got around to doing it back when I was quilting. But always admired the artistry.
Brenda
Great group indeed! I will have to take notice of the "X" on frogs backs. Although not seeing too many frogs and lizards lately with OJ kitty in the yard.
