Two announcements!

First, let me say...it has been more than 3 years that we have been promised to have our own cell phone tower. Well, guess what, yep! A signal last night! Not a real strong one because right now the company is running a test, but a 2 bar signal, sometimes 3! Yippee!
I hope it's not cell phony, baloney.
Secondly, today is the day Madames (and my son's) second cousin moves to Florida, his mom is being transferred, she is in the navy. Madame is attached, just look at this photo.

Good luck little one! Come back soon! C&G Design

Wait...you don't have a cell signal? Until now? I admit when we came here, Sprint didn't work in the house, and maybe it still doesn't, and there were NO iphones allowed in VT, but happy to say we are all iphoned up which was really important to me because my son is so far away.

I do hope it works!!!

Such a cute baby!! I just want to reach through the screen and give smooches! I bet Madame is not only going to be a great baby sitter but a great mom some day too. I can't believe you have not had a cell phone tower?? Did you just get a cell phone too? Why was that....are you in a really rural area Dawn? Good luck to your cousins and I hope they have a safe move and a happy life there.

Yup, rough day....they left at 5:05 this morning. The movers were here most of the day yesterday and we had his favorite for supper (ham). The last 2 nights he stayed up till after 8:30PM. Usually he goes to bed by 7 at the latest but he was fine as he had cousins here each night and he does love all of his cousins. So glad he had Sunday with Madame. Times like this, I really wish you lived closer. I just walked thru the living room with his toy box gone and it hit me hard.

Glad you have cell phone service at the house now. Our new cell phone tower is all now oerational but the other day at the town office, I still had no service and I could see the tower!!!! I guess other spots in town are better off now but I always had service at my house anyway.

Sorry mom, you know....maybe another grandchild will have a family soon, (not that it will replace J boy) and might I add....hopefully it won't be mine! Not yet! Now would be a good time to finish a project, although for the life of me I can't think of one (but you probably could!) //*_*\\
Nancy and Debbie, my town is rural but the big problem is that it is in a valley, foothills all around. Everyone in our school district (9 towns) have a signal but not us. Then when the property was donated, CMP fought for a tarred road, THEN, US cellular sold to verizion sooooo guess who fought over the contract? Grr! Oh well, least the kids won't be tying up the business phone now.
Long day thrifting, sooo tired, heading to the sack. ttyl

Happy travels to Josh. I know the house must feel so empty now Jean. I am sorry they had to move on but another chapter in their young life and hopefully, good things will be around the corner for them. Now you can think about your soon travels as well. Chin up Miss Jean....

That is an adorable pic of Madame and the little man. Dawn, make sure they all keep in touch with each other so Josh will remember their times together...
