Where is winter?

Okay, this was the extent of our winter storm this past weekend, what we got over a two, three day span was quickly melting by noon on Sunday. My poor hubby had a night time call during the mist of the big wet flakes and ended up with a blow out on the way home, you can see the tire in the bed of his truck. Poor guy.

I had to make fun of him Sunday morning while he was reading his book, I said "Boy, that must be...some...good...book. Ha! Ha! Ha!" He has gotten so good at falling asleep he was doing that while holding his head and book in the upright position! Too funny.

Well, we be slowing down work with the warmer weather, he'll get a chance to catch up.

Good thing he is safe. Murphy's law sometimes kicks in at the worst time I tell you.

It must be a busy time of year for you all. Poor hubby...glad he got home safely. Mine hydroplaned down a road of backed up cars during that rain storm and was within an inch of crashing into five cars! Thank God he got out of that one! Hey...I have an award for you at my blog. You don't have to take it if you don't want to. It's just for fun.

Glad JOAT got home safely. Snow falls came come at the wrong time and in this case, so can blow outs. Yikes! Must have been a cold tire change... Can you believe they are calling for snow flurries here by mid week? This just after having 70 temps. Crazy stuff....

Oh dear, my poor son-in-law sure had a rough night. Glad he is okay.

I can't remember when we had any snow on the ground till Saturday night. The first wave we got all rain and rain again last night but Saturday night we got a couple of inches of snow but it is now gone. Now if my power would stay on I sure would be happy. 22 hours Fir to Sat. Sat night 18 hours. Last night only 8 hours so we are now gaining but for now I will leave batteries in the scanner and radio and leave the candles, lanterns and kerosene heater out as I am tired of putting them away and getting them out. I am a slow learner but have finally learned.

What is up with this weird weather? I can't remember it being so warm this time of year. Does this mean an early spring? What did that groundhog say anyway? I having a flat tire, your poor husband. Hopefully he got warmed up once he got home. Here's to an early spring! Hugs, Kathleen
