Trick or Treating the Pillowcase Way

Okay, we took Madame and a friend trick or treating to our local "blue light neighborhood". That's the project where the town police have elected to patrol and all the other towns are allowed to participate.
Any who....Madame and her friend when to the same houses....same doors....same people. Madame was given more treats than her friend! Ah, ha!
Madame had a pillowcase and her friend carried a plastic jack-o-lantern, our very nice neighborhood is considerate of space! They bailed handfuls to Madame while hunting and pecking for her friend! Note for friend, next year bring a pillowcase for the mother load!
In the end it evened out though. Madame was charged 1/4 of her candy for transportation cost, and 1/4 for bringing her and her friend out for supper.

Only after she goes to bed, anyone will know.....C&G Design.

P.S. Vote today, it matters, Kit Kat get mine! Just kidding!

Way to go with the pillowcase. Was it plain or floral?

Plain purple, check Saturday for the costume.

Good idea to charge her but she should know it up front as it would be a good lesson that everything has a cost. I love the quilt.

I get dibs on the Baby Ruths! lol...

Tina, One year I hid my Valentine box of candy from my brothers and forgot where I hid it. Found it all stale many months later.... Moral of the story, SHARE with others....

Skeeter, I agree with share with others-all EXCEPT sibling:) Hope you never told the brothers what happened.

Hi guys,
I didn't get any candy tho, she had a muckle hold of it in the night, slept with it! The next day I hid it in the commode stand because her brother threatened to get it. She's good about it she gave me what I asked for but on other years she'd notice, he would too. You know we used that"got to make sure the candy it alright" excuse to "check it"
