Redwork-block 12, Puppies

This one is soooo cute, it's really considered a pet and a little cartoonish but I think it works. I haven't found a competing kitty yet, but I will... The puppies were interesting to do because it is similar to the turkey with it's different lines, and challenging to do because it calls of "predicting" the ending threads. I had to finish the little puppy before I jumped to the big dog, I saw no sense in jumping 4 times when I could do it once. I did pretty well, I cut only once and that was at the paws.
Like how my Maine Coon cat wouldn't move for anything, you can see his white collar in the picture. So I photographed the grouping on him last night. And he still didn't move!
Oh well, cold tonight, maybe that's why....not! C&G Design

Your cat must've been most comfy. They can be stubborn for sure.

Too cute Dawn! You are involved i so many things I can't keep up! How do you find the time to do such beautiful work my friend! Thanks for helping me yesterday. If someone asked me how I got it done I couldn't tell them!:)

Hi Dawn, no way, you have a Maine Coon too? We have 3 of the monsters and they are our adored infants. Such sweet cats, well, sometimes naughty but that's okay; )

I love seeing your blocks and the progression of your quilt. Now I'm not a seamstress, so I'm just guessing here so if that's not what you're doing or what they are called... oh, go ahead and laugh; )

Talk to you soon, xJ

This one is, like you said, sooo cute. You can just see the pride in mamma's eyes.

Cats sure do have a mind of their own, as all cat owners know all too well.

It was 31 degrees here this AM. That's Maine for you. Nice today though, can't complain. Cats do do their own thing. Love the puppies! Such beautiful work. Hugs, Kathleen

Love the puppies. You'll find a Kittie soon. They can be a bit closed mind.

We had a hard frost, too. Still glad I haven't stopped to put flowers out.

The puppies are too cute. And, I caught up and saw the doll story. My heart would have been pounding! I'm so glad you did get the "prize".
