Redwork-block 6, Beaver

This one is so neat! I had to make sure "BUCKY" beaver made it into his own block, the tail is a unique pattern. Not many animals can be embroidered with a criss-cross pattern because not many have this texture. It looks a little dis-organized in the next picture but it was quite easy and went fast.

I love his little face, and while the next block is one of my favorite animals, I must say.....this is my favorite block out of this group of four.
And by now, I've embroidered another group of four (this is fast stitching), I thought about posting two blocks at once, but this way it's giving me the opportunity to be in the yard and garden almost all day.

My beaver came out well. C&G Design

Yes, he did. What a handsome beaver. Is it raining there? It's dreary and dismal and chilly here. I want to get started with my flowers, but the weather just won't cooperate. Hopefully, you are having better luck. Hugs, Kathleen

I always liked beavers and his face is very cute. They are very cute little buggars.

Raining here again as well Kathleen but cannot complain as the lake is filling up more each day!

I still have a little Beaver plush critter from when I was a child. I kept it all these years as he is so cute. I named him Bucky Beaver too! Great minds think a like. I was not expecting a beaver in your collection so was surprised to see it today...

Tina, good luck on your school project...

Jean, Have fun with all your family activities...

Great job! Are these blocks going to be sewn into a quilt? They would also be nice framed. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Guys, raining and pouring here today too, cold! and gee wiz, if you sneeze in this weather and you happen to be shooping, expect glares from other shoppers who are wondering if you have swine flu! I just came home early!
Anyway, my goal for these critters is a quilt but I'm not sure when they will end or what quilt pattern to do yet. It maybe big!
