Black Apple Dolls

I have made a cool discovery that has kept me busy on the Internet for the past few days. It's Flicker, the social site for personal photo albums to be uploaded so other members can see them. Did you know free patterns are on Flicker? 500 and something in doll patterns alone. Some of the patterns lead to just the Flicker photo itself, which you can't seem to print or download, Flicker accounts have settings that allow, no copying. Other patterns lead to the persons blog or a download file. How wonderful for me! All I had to do was look....
This is such a doll, it is designed by: Black Apple Dolls and it's really cute (they ask it not be used commercially). Flicker photo groups include other members that have made this pattern, the designer can request they be downloaded with the appropriate tags.

What I like about this doll the most, is it's simplistic, I saw one such doll that had jagged pony tails out from the seams of her head. Oh the possibilities are endless!

Here is the temp plate which is featured on Martha Stewart. C&G Design

The Internet is amazing. Did you also know that each photo you upload can be viewed by anyone on Google images? Google uploads them via Picasa. I did not know this until a few months ago. Really strange.

Oh I love flicker Dawn! I have a kitchen angel doll hanging in my kitchen (of course!) and it was given to me by my sister in law at xmas time one year. I love it, and often think of you because I think you could probably make it! One of these days I will post a photo of it when we get straightened out here on the Blueberry plains construction site.:)

I just bet it is a great site for you. How did we ever manage without the internet. Makes one wonder what life will be like in another 100 years. I am sure when the Wright brothers flew that first airplane people thought it just the most amazing thing that could EVER happen and now look at all we have. Wow, it is just mind boggling, to say the least.

I am amazed at the internet....but cell phones are right up there too! My life would have been so much simpler if I had had a cell phone when I was younger. The dolls will be out in the morning mail. Hugs, Kathleen
