The Sewing Table

This is my next furniture refinishing project, I picked it up for $12.00 and I think it's beautiful. It was a vanity table but it is going to be Madame's new sewing table. (And maybe mine!)

You can see where someone glued and stapled a cloth curtain around the stained (original) part. At one point I think the top was painted white.

When the arms are opened they expose 4 drawers with plenty of space. It's unique and the gas attendant who filled the trunk tank on the day this sat in the bed knew I was going to use it for sewing.
How did he know that? C&G Design

It is really different Dawn....never seen one like it. What are you going to do with it? Paint it or strip it? By the way...I like the floor...what I can see of it!! It really pops!

Was the Gas Attendant the Babe? If not, then someone that knows about sewing...

This is such a unique piece of furniture. I have never seen one with opening arms before. How interesting...

Oh I love it. It will be a show stopper piece of furniture when you get it refinished.

That is a gorgeous piece Dawn. I've never seen one that opened to reveal the drawers like that. Please let us see the finished project. You can't find valuables like that down here.
