The Blue Ribbon Campaign

I have ALWAYS honored and respected the ribbon campaign, thee is several but the most recognized ribbon is the PINK ribbon for breast cancer.
After yesterdays post and now related to me is the BLUE ribbon. I'd like to let my readers know about the BLUE ribbon and what it means.
The most used BLUE ribbon known to us all are the first place award for the best. The best quilt, the best pie, the best grown veggies and best in show. I believe everyone in one way or another has had a blue ribbon awarded in their family with much excitement.

Wow...who knew there were that many ribbons for that many things! I am in the red ribbon or red dress category I guess...for my heart disease. If I read all of them, there may have been a few more too! I am glad you are still posting right up until the surgery. It feels good that you are doing "normal" things!! Good for you. Is madame back to school yet like some of the kids around here??? Our school that we work at is not back until after Labor Day!
