This cute little trio of owls is made from french knots, the outline stitch, and a little satin stitch in the tops of the heads. All my favorite and seemingly always used.
This scene is another church and it is lovely. It is all cross stitched, but it has a twist I've not seen before. The fabric has color enhancement for like,....the sky, the brown trees, and the tree trunks to the right. So pretty and a great addition.
I'm going to have to find a project for all the frames I'm getting. C&G Design.

Those owls are too cool. I never could get the French knot down when embroidering.
I HAVE never heard of someone not getting the french knot, that's easier than sewing a straight line. Did someone try to show you? Or did you try yourself?
The owls are too cute.
The peacock may come out of this project and go in the oriental room, it's really pretty.
I tried to teach myself and someone tried to show me. Sigh. I never could get it. Oh well. You can try when we get together sometime.
Yah, because it is easy. You might be winding the thread from the wrong side, it's hard to get someone taught because its reversed.
Madam has her b-day sleep over tom and I just heard Hannah is coming through.
Neat owls and a quaint church on a country road...
I love those prints uhhhh stitcheries. Owls way too cute & the church is awesome. They would look really nice in frames.
Both of those are just lovely.
Hi guys,
Hope everyone fairs well with these hurricanes. Ike is cat 3 and sounds bad.
They are both very nice.
Did Madam P get my card? Hope so. I just heard on the news about a mailman that was arrested for stealing cards. He was making $50.00 to $100.00 a day. Hope they nail him good. Probably a lot of it was to grandkids from grandparents.
Yes, she was asking about you coming and that's when I gave her the card. She promptly grabbed the cash from me, btw.
Yes, I hope they nail the mailman, least you can have you mail private nowadays.
