Fun Froggy Fair

If I must say.....I am a pretty good shot.....I can remember in the seventh grade taking a hunter safety course and firing a .22. I did better than most the boys in the class! And I still have the target!

Hubby may protest about my ability but.....three of these macho men in my back yard couldn't do what a I did on the first try. Shoot a spam can off a log about 20 feet away! Ha! And I have witnesses!

Someone has the gene! Seems upon returning home from his date to the local fair, my son was able to shoot a bull eyes with the bow and arrow game. I'm pretty sure I can't do that, we are convinced the games are rigged. I say the arrow has a slight curve unknown to the naked eye, Jack of all trades believes the feathers on the end of the arrows are slanting backwards (pointing towards the sharp edge). Either way, my son was able to do it and was extremely proud of himself.

Too funny he didn't give the frog to his date. C & G Design.

He looks too manly to be holding a big blue stuffed frog. Congrats on his good shooting, and yours too! Spam? I don't think many Southerners eat that, not sure. Skeeter may let us know. They eat it in Alaska though.

Might of been Treat, almost the same thing. It's good fried. And cheap.
That day was too funny, NO ONE believed I could do it. Russ has mentioned it once, than clammed up.
Ya, sure doesn't look 15.

Great job Babe! He did not give the frog to his date? Not a real date then or he figures one of many dates so I am keeping the frog! I got a furry critter at a fair once by my high school boyfriend and when I broke up with him, he took the thing back! Now what’s with that? Good thing I broke up with him... lol....

Tina, I have some Spam in the fridge right now! My Korean friend taught me that it is good in stir fry dishes and we eat it fried instead of bacon or sausage for breakfast too! Every now and then a good old Spam Sandwich is good with lettuce and mayo... A true staple in the house for Cheapskates... I would never serve it to anyone though, well, maybe in stir fry as they would not know the difference.... lol…

Dawn, ask the squirrels about my BB gun? tee hee...

This may of been the breaker, by the end of the night he was hanging with other friends. Now her ex is bowing up at him. ?????My son has 50 lbs and a foot taller than him. Guess if your a senior, have to do something to get the girl back!!!!
Yah! I like Treat better than Spam, but good, good, have to try in in stir fry, never thought of that.
Now Skeeter, I can't imagine you shooting a furry little animal, if you did, bet they made you mad enough that you were bound to hit them! I don't mean firing wildly, just accuratly. LOL
Ugh, I have another Audit today.
Rain this morning, sunny now.

Dawn I like Treat better also and it IS good to make ham salad with onion, relis and mayo. In fact I can't tell the difference when I make it with the Treat and it is much eaiser to mix up. David eats Spam but I don't like it but I bet either is good in a stir fry. I only use the Treat for ham salad.

SKEETER!!!!!!! You with a BB gun and an anmial???? Oh my goodness, know I know for sure this world has gone nuts.

Good luck with the audit. The joys of owing your own business.

Dont tell my Pet People friends I shoot the squirrels. tee hee.. I only pump the rifle a few times just to be able to hit them. I dont hurt them or shoot to kill, just to get their attention when they get onto the corn feeder which we have several feet high off the ground! It is no worse then throwing a rock at them. I would never kill an animal but those squirrels make me so mad at times that I wish I could kill them! lol...sometimes the rifle is not powerful to get the BB to them on the first shot so I give it an extra pump… I usually just wiz it by their bodys to scare them off the feeder…
