Ahhh, wouldn't it be nice to bathe in seventy degree pool water? Wouldn't it be nice to run around in eighty degree, humid air? Well, New England is being hit with another Nor'easter, 12 to 18 inches. Luckily Madame was invited to a friend's birthday party that was celebrated at a local campground, the pool is available all winter. She was able to refresh herself from the winter blahs, and play some beach ball. I was dreaming of a warmer day,

Very nice indeed!
It sure would be nice. Sounds like she had a great time. The water looks inviting even though I can't swim.
I could go for that. Is it still snowing there? It is here, with lots of blowing. This is indeed a jack-pot storm. I am glad my husband is home to deal with it. Come on spring. Hugs, XO Kathleen
What a refreshing post today with Madame Mermaid! We woke up to 27 chilly degrees but should be 70-degrees by Friday!
Hi guys, I just got my power back on, it went out at 1 am. We got more than 18 inches I'd say. Alot of my area went out.
Tina, I'll start my post right after I flush the potty's, run the dishwasher and do a load of clothes, got to grab it now! Sticky and weighting the trees badly now we have wind! Be right back! Oh, to be on a beach right now....
WOOHOO!!!!!!!!! Our power is back after 29 hours without it. 12:45am on Monday to 5:45am this morning. 3rd time this winter and that is more that usually a 10 year span or more. Then I see Madame happy as can be in a swimming pool. Oh my oh my!!!Lucky her!!!! My pool looks pretty sad with all the snow over and around it. Makes you feel like you will never get in it again. We only got about 8 inches but with the temps in the 30's it was so wet and heavy that there were power outages all over. With all the downed power lines and then last evening we had a structure fire here in town (a small road of Stovers Point Road) and then it rekindled at 2:30 am, the scanner kept going with a lot of traffic. Thank God we have good backup heat, a battery TV and a scanner that also runs on batteries. I worry about the people that do not have all that. But I sure do miss my computer when there is no power, but do get more done than when I spend most of the time on it. LOL The poor firemen in town had enough to do without having to deal with a structure fire and they are truly great people to take their time to do it in all kinds of terrible weather.
