The Drillpress

There is a method to Christmas gifting, least within your family. Madame is so easy to shop for, I purchase her craft items I think I would like. Such as the case with the rock driller. My fear is that it ends up being a high priced toy. It sure looks pretty plasticity and maybe that it could break in any moment. The directions include safety precautions about the gadget not working without enough water or with the containment door open....containment door, sounds kinda like a live ,high bacteria experiment.
It worked. Although Jack of all Trades said if we had a better bit it would be easier. What you see is the sea glass I purchased at the dollar store, it drilled a precision hole just right for my current project.

Fits right up there with the two rock tumblers we have. C&G Design.

Wonder what kind of project you are working on with sea glass?

Holy Cow! They are predicting 14-21 inches of snow for us in Millinocket, between 4 PM tonight, and 4 PM tomorrow night. Are we the jackpot area this time? How's it looking for your neck of the woods? I love sea glass, the colors, especially. All those blues, and greens. So, what is your next project? Can't wait. You are so inspiring! Hugs, Kathleen

The projects you can do with sea glass and a tool like that are almost endless. Who is having more fun with it, you or Madame?

Sounds like you will get clobbered Dawn. Your mountain area with all the lakes of Maine are absolutely magnificence but you do pay for it with tons of snow in the winter. They say we will get 8 to 12 here but they also said the areas that got rain in the last storm will probably get rain this time. We did get some snow last storm but then all rain so maybe we will luck out again. Right now the thermometer reads 43 so maybe. Maybe that also means other areas will not be as much as they are saying, like the last storm. School vacation ends tomorrow but maybe the storm will extend it a day.
