A New Bookbag

Madame started a new bag, actually the bottom part (half the red), was already done, it was with a bunch of yarn someone gave to us. Madame has worked diligently on her current project. These photos were take 2-18-09.
A little more blue....we need to equal amount!

Black is nice, she selected black as the final color. You all know black goes with anything, don't cha?

Ta da! Easter Sunday, April 12, saw the final project done! Here Madame is modeling it for us to admire. She's in her pj's again, and decided it would be a great time to take the hem out of her pants! Oay vey, maybe teaching this stuff is not so good! Just kidding.

Upon closer look we can see it's double crochet, and perfect!

Madame is pleased with herself, she did a wonderful job!

A great age for finishing a lengthy project. C&G Design.

Congrats Madame! The bag is beautiful. I love the colors, and it's just so Boho. Madame must have a wonderful teacher and mentor. (I don't know about those PJ's though) Hugs, Kathleen

How very neat that you taught "Madame" to crochet! I am working on a bag right now myself and I think hers is terrific! I like the black ending to it and nice job on the handles too!
