From One Extreme to Another

Not only is the weather going from freezing at -25, to 25 above, and then snow... Madame has developed one extreme to another, she signed up for basketball this year. Here she is waiting to line up for the toss. and again at the whistle blow......we are a busy set of parents in the winter time, and these basketball games take up our weekends.

Except this weekend, she had to forgo the game for a majorette rally.....at another school. Here she is marching in a square to the count of eight....

You and JOATs have always been very busy with the kids but that is a good thing. The way time flies, it won't be long and one will be out of high school and it will slack of some then.

I think it is great to keep kids busy with such activities. Keeps the mind working and learning sportsmanship and teamwork. Way to go Madame!

My 15 year old niece went from being selected as Homecoming Queen on Friday night to playing Softball on Saturday morning! Girlie girl one day then rough neck fast pitch the next! One extreme to the next indeed....

Hi guys, went food shopping today and I'm looking forwards to naptime! Yep, we are busy, busy, Monday is going to bring another deep freeze, I'm hearing ringing in my sleep!

Wow, that's really busy. I make my kids limit it to one activity at a time otherwise I get too overwhelmed with all of the running that I used to do.

You are a busy bee there Dawn! And you have a crafty eye. Those eggs are paper mache. I especially love the tinsel on them. I'm bracing once again for those freezing temps...this month has really been a cold one. Hope your phone stays quiet. Hugs
