Antiqued Ann and Andy

It had to come to a post on my antiqued Ann and Andy, I love the way these two turned out, kinda cutie, modern.

Andy wears a comic page hat and if memory serves me right, the newspaper date will be somewhere around 1996.

Ann has a necklace made from wooden spools and wooden beads.

Both have facial features embroidered with wool, legs striped with ticking, and hairdos with varied red color, hand dyed by myself. The outfit is Waverly remants, putting my pair "styling".

I think I need to switch the button heart to the other side though.

What was I thinking!?! C & G Design.

Yup, wrong side but I don't think that would be a big deal. They look soft and lovable.

Oh darn, I keep forgetting to tell you that we will go to the Nutcracker. If you get the tickets we will meet you there. I can send a check or pay you when we get there. You pick the day and time.

Hi guys,
Mom, I was waiting to look on line because it is said you can see the seating, get what you want, and yes they have handicap. I'll look tonight maybe we can get it close, hope so. Big deal with this and I'm very impressed with MSB.

While home in TN, I went to a community yard sale in my parent’s neighborhood. I spotted a huge Ann sitting on a stool! I of course thought of you Dawn!

While at the Fur Ball I bid on, and won a doll at the silent auction... She is a porcelain doll from the Bradley’s collection with red hair! Her certificate is number 350 of 2500 and price tag says date of 9-15-90 and paid $103.93. I believe my winning bid was $20.00... I got her thinking my mom would like her but then I noticed she has all of her dolls packed away. She said they were getting dusty and cat hair on them so she put them away. I did not show her the doll as it was going to be a surprise. So now I am stuck with a doll which I don’t know what to do with. argggg...
