Fun Flooring

Hey, I know last year when I wrote about my goals for this year, I said I would have a vote on what decor I'll have in my studio. Well, I had an opportunity come along and I had to take it. Laminate flooring in this polka dot pattern. At first I had decided on the hot pink with light pink dots but at the store we decided the black would go with anything. I know, I know it sounds kooky, it is kooky. But! I have a surprise for the walls, I'm trying to not post on it until the room is done but since we have been very busy, I might have to spoil the end and talk about it.
Until then, this is our floor choice, whatdaya....think? C&G Design

I bet it will look good when the room is all done. Till then it may be a bit busy but you will tie it all together good.

Ok...I am going to just go ahead and say it...I am not crazy about it and can't picture it? Maybe you will amaze the rest of us and tie it all together and it will be like one of those HGTV do over shows like Color Splash and look Fabulous! Oh my goodness...I just read Jean's comment and it sounds like mine....arggg...sorry bout that....should have said I agree with Jean! Also be careful with laminate flooring. Our carpenter does not say good things about it. I have also been to peoples homes and seen it lifting as well?

Hmmmm, seems like a strange choice. But, I'm sure you have a plan all figured out. You put so much into your garden. I guess I am not that ambitious, glad I stuck to some herbs this year. Love the dolls in the book. Hard to believe they are dolls. Many look so life like it was incredible. Hope you are enjoying our glorious weather. Luv and hugs, Kathleen

I'm more of a traditional gal myself, and would have gone with a wood laminate, but if you're going for dots, I like the b/w over the red. It's more versatile.

If you like it that is fine. You will, with your talent, make it fabulous. Anxious to see final outcome.

How brave of you to go for a whimsy look but that is to be expected with an artist.... Cant wait to see the finished product. I think the flooring looks like dominoes...
