BROWN Earthy and humble, you are often mistaken for being plain, when you are quite interesting. Your gentle spirit causes you to be attractive to others who are searching for geniune friends.

What is Pink Saturday?
My fairy name
Your fairy is called Oak Goblinfly
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She lives in forests of oak and lime trees.
She is only seen at midday under a quiet, cloudless sky.
She decorates herself with leaves and berries. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.
I love a vintage button! Trouble is, they are becoming so costly that your better off scouring the thrift shops for clothing with the beautiful babbles and remove them. Below are a few things to make with buttons.Jewelry is tops, a brooch with a bracelet, and one could add earrings!
Hi Dawn! I like them all but the button pincushion is (of course) my favorite! Thanks for sharing all of those crafts. I am going to try and print them out. I absolutely LOVE old buttons and you are right...they are hard to find today. I was lucky enough to get a lot of them at yard sales last year and the year before. I keep them in old glass jars and canning jars and a couple old liquor bottles shaped like womens shoes. They are so unique and beautiful.
Neat ideas Dawn. I have some old buttons in the base of a small lamp. It's in my sewing room. The little shade to the lamp has spools of thread & buttons on it. Occasionally I have to rob the button collection to replace a lost one.
Dawn, thank you for sharing these great ideas....I, too, like the button pincushion, and might even attemp to make it. At one of those auctions I went to, some button lots, sold for $95.00. Prepare for the rain, again...hugs, Kathleen
My Grandmother had a button jar and I wonder what ever happen to it. Hum, I must ask my mom....
A crafter made the button brooch and a braclet also in our Craft Store. She taught me how to make them and I made a few but then moved onto old coins instead. I had my hubby send me old coins from Bosnia while he was there for a 10 month stay. Was a fun craft and they sold well in the store since a lot of customers spouses were in Bosnia as well!

I like that button brooch. Most unique.
All are nice but the button table is really too cool.

I never find any vintage buttons while thrifting. Sure would love to have a button brooch. Great post. Thanks for the info!
