Pink Roses

Please join us for Pink Saturday, a group of bloggers that get together on a collective list at Beverly's and post pink.

Today is some of the roses growing in my yard. It seems like Maine, New England has waited out the rain and for me, it's rewarding me with blooms. This one was a pleasant surprise, it flowers by my telephone and was dug up about 3 winters ago. I was delighted to see it bloom, if only for a day. Rugosa.

A long shot, notice the Canadian lily bursting with buds.

A close-up of my Queen Elizabeth rose, I love the tattered edges.

Mother's day,

and a miniature rose my husband gave me for last years anniversary, I'm so glad it made it through the winter.

My fragrant moss rose. So pretty.

Again, I'd like to thank Beverly of How sweet the sound for being the wonderful hostess that she is. C&G Design.

Happy Pink Saturday Dawn. Thanks for sharing your beautiful pink roses. I could smell them and they smelled so fragrant. I really love the rose moss. You did a beautiful job photographing them as well. Happy PS. Country Hugs, Sherry

What gorgeous roses Dawn! I have never grown them but always wanted to. Your yard must be so beautiful with all of the flowers you have added over the years. I used to have perrennial beds and annual beds everywhere but got rid of them one year for some reason and never got any more. I miss flowers. Maybe next year...I say that about everything! My hubby and I are such procrastinators! Thanks for sharing those magnificent roses on your pink Saturday. I would love to join up with that some day. See....there I go again...procrastinating!

Happy Pink Saturday. I love your roses. They are so pretty. Hard to grow them here as the black spot, powdery mildew & bugs do a number on them. Then they look awful.
Mtn Allysum still doing great, looks like it will bloom again as transit kinda messed the other blooms up.

Dawn,
What beautiful pink flowers!

I've seen other kids with their own Etsy shops. I am sure their mom's front the store for safety though. Or you could do a section of your shop for her! I wish my daughter actually made something sell-able because she is always wanting to sell things as well!

I am throwing my 100th Blog post party today and in celebration am running 5 give-aways. Please be sure to stop on by! I'd love to have you! I will leave the post up until Wednesday and conduct the drawings next Friday in time for Pink Saturday!

Happy Pink Saturday!
Erin
