Peppy Puppy & Pooped Pooch

This is Koto. Koto lives next door to us, he started coming over when Tartarus had his surgery to amputate his ear. I suspect my dog has been visiting him.
My neighbor had a rottweiler that grew up with Tartarus, in fact I drove by his house once only to see my dog eating Winston's dinner! Right in front of him!
My neighbor has asked once to keep Tartarus home, that was when their garden was sprouting.
Koto is maybe....1 year old, still a puppy. We don't mind Koto coming over, although he's let me get near him once. We had to keep Tartarus inside when he had his stitches because they got too rough with one another. Now with this summer heat, Tartarus last about 15 minutes before he's done in.

He's a pooped pooch, but doing really well now, and on this day when Koto's owner called for him, he beat feet with a softball in his mouth! Lil' stinker! C&G Design

Don't you wish you knew what those dogs were saying to each other. Like maybe Winston was saying, "go ahead you can eat my lunch, I don't like that flavor anyway." Mr Ming is an indoor cat, but every once in awhile he gets out. Well, on one of these humid days Mr Smarty pants got out. He didn't last long. Within 15 minutes he was at the door, wanting to come back in. And speaking of the humidity. What is the choice now Rain, or Humidity so high you can't even breath? I vote for fall. Loved your post Dawn! Hope you have a super week-end my friend....hugs, Kathleen

Hi Dawn...so glad TarTar is doing well! My prayers were answered. That is co cute that they spend time together and are good friends. My dog Obie loves ALL dogs even though some may not like him. He's a sweety. My brother brought home Obie's brother Ziggy with him and wants us to get together for a play date. Zoe is with Ziggy too. Just finding the time is hard! I am with Kathleen...rain and then humidity? I am ready for fall too. It is helping my plants grow though...at least the ones the deer aren't eating! Port hole tomorrow night!! We'll be thinking of you. What did you do for your birthday??

How sweet! I love watching animals make friends and play! Your tibia fracture sounds awful - much worse than mine. I think I got of easy!

Hi Dawn, that sounds grim having his ear amputated.

No neighbors near me so I never see anyone's dogs. My friend in Tennessee has two goldens that come home with 'stuff' every day. Toys, clothes, kids shoes. She usually calls the closest neighbors and lets them know she has their ball or one of the kids expensive athletic shoes;)

I forgot to mention. Thanks for the tip on covering photo albums. It sounds easy enough, in fact is seems like I could do it with that iron-on seam tape and not even have to sew. I'm going to try.

Nothing like having a buddy to spend the summer with! Romping around and sniffing things to gross us humans out. :-) Tartar is a good boy to share with his friends. Am sure the ball will make its way back home some day.

What a little stinker to grab the tennis ball! His momma should have a nice talk with him!
